SVU Lodging
Last year, every single unit of available SVU lodging was sold out within a few weeks after registration began, so if you want to stay in these dorms, don't wait too long to register. This year we've also booked a special group rate with a local hotel in nearby Lexington, see below for details.
The Lofts $50 per night
This is your chance to stay in SVU's brand-new dorms! Located adjacent to campus, it's the place to be if you want to be right in the heart of it all!
Each room contains:
- 3 twin beds (no linens)
- Full bathroom, plus extra sink (no linens)
- Air conditioning
- Elevator access to the rooms
- Access to lounge area which contains vending machines, and a large flat-screen TV
- Access to coin-operated laundry room
- Ethernet available (but no Wi-FI)
You will need to bring all linens (sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, etc.).
*Note: The Lofts are a 5-7 minute walk from campus. There are steep stairs on the way (see pictures).
Craton Hall $30 per night
These are SVU's "older" and NOT YET REMODELED dorm rooms. We offer them simply because they are very low priced and located conveniently on campus. They are MUCH, MUCH SMALLER than the Lofts and do NOT have private bathrooms.
Each unit contains:
- 2 twin beds, no linens
- Linoleum flooring
- Window unit air-conditioning
- Shared bathrooms down the hall (one for men, one for women)
You will need to bring all linens (sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, etc.).
The Carriage Townhomes $80 per night (Reserved by appointment only)
All the Carriage Townhomes have been reserved and are no longer available.
Lofts and Townhomes must be reserved before May 16th. No refunds will be provided after May 16th. Refunds requested before May 16th will be charged a 10% service fee. For questions regarding housing, please contact our Housing Coordinator. (you must be logged in)
